The left-wing media, which generally includes everyoneexcept Fox, has been alleging that Newt Gingrich earned money by teaching acollege course that was partisan as opposed to educational. However, according to CNN, Gingrich was investigatedand exonerated by the IRS.

COMMENTS:

This charge has been repeatedly brought forth by the “mainstreammedia,” although they know full well that Gingrich was exonerated in1999. The media continues to try andpick our President where that is OURjob. Congrats to CNN for revealing thetruth; maybe there is hope for them after all. But, the rest of the press and media have continued to spread the untruthwithout compunction. I think the time isfast approaching when we need to start turning off the TV and quit reading theliberal line; we need to grow up and start thinking for ourselves, and their declining ratings will hit them in the pocketbook.

A. Mexico is largely corrupted by the cartels at all levelsof its government. Judges and policeget paid off and if they don’t go along with the program, they get shot. There they were on the tarmac, Brewer with her finger jabbingObama in the chest and Obama dressing down Brewer in public. It made national news, and Obama yesterdaytried to play it down by saying it was “no big deal.”

COMMENTS:

We’re all aware that there is no love lost between thetwo. Obama despises her for standing upto his totally inadequate immigration policy; Brewer despises him for not following the law. Brewer wrote disparaging remarks about him ina recent book, and those remarks caused Obama to lash out at her on the Arizonatarmac. Well, that was neither the timenor the place to let Brewer have it, and the fact that he did shows a totallack of respect for her as a Governor and lack of control as a President. More than that, it goes to the heart of hisfeelings toward anyone who does not agree with him, and his is indeed achildish, immature position to hold.

A. Yes. The word isthat his team will argue that only the United States can demand his birthcertificate and that states have no right to ask for it. As you know, Holder has refused to ask forit. That would put the whole case on thesidelines while they try to prosecute a contempt charge against him, therebyalmost certainly pushing the issue past the November elections.

EPA MAY SHUT DOWN NORTH DAKOTA OIL FIELDS

Just as President Obama refused to allow the Canadian oilpipeline construction, The EPA is now eyeballing the North Dakota oilindustry. That state is now producing asmuch oil as Ecuador produces and has the lowest unemployment rate in the country,but the EPA is zeroing in on “hydraulic fracturing,” also known as “fracking,” asbeing a menace to the environment.

North Dakota is using its oil revenues to repair itsinfrastructure, thereby employing more people. The Obama administration seems to be bound anddetermined to increase our reliance on foreign oil and thereby to jack up ourenergy prices. They need to be removedin November and sent back to Kenya.

Just a little over a year ago, Arizona RepresentativeGabrielle Giffords was shot in a bloodbath where others were killed in aterrible shopping mall shooting. Due tothe extent of her injuries, she is now forced to resign while she continues herrecovery. Left-wing liberals, mostnotably Nancy Pelosi, jumped on the tragedy to claim that two things causedit: (1) guns and (2) the American TeaParties. The family was quick to saythey did not blame guns for the event and that it was an individual act of ademonized man. Nevertheless, the claimslive on.

COMMENTS:

In all of my years, I have never heard of a gun going offand shooting someone by itself. I doknow that violent crime goes down in areas where the percentage of individual gunownership is high. The Tea Parties havenever been involved in violence, nor have they fostered violence such as the “Occupiers”have done. Last year, Obama sought total control over the Internet,giving him the ability to shut it down at will. The attempt was thinly disguised as being necessary in the event of cyber-attack,but he would really have the power to shut off its vast communicationcapabilities during a period of “national unrest.” In other words, if we get ticked off enoughat him that we want to organize protests and demonstrations, he wants to shutoff our ability to communicate. He wouldalso have the power to selectively shut down websites antagonistic to his pointof view. Congress turned him down lastyear, but he is now making a concerted push to get his demands met.

COMMENTS:

His latest proposal would prohibit any interference from theCourts. We need to make Congress awareof the fact that we will not tolerate interference with the First Amendment andour right to free speech. If there is a cyber-attack,the guys in charge of the Internet are perfectly capable of temporarilyshutting it down and dealing with it; they don’t need a Marxist Socialistmaking their decisions for them.

The word is:that factor, and the country’s worsening economy, have combined to forceillegal crossings to their lowest level in 40- years.

One more factor that has not been considered is that all of the Mexicans are already here,awaiting their amnesty. It’s an entitlement, you know. The only people left in Mexico are the drug cartels and Al Qaeda.

Charities have responded by become annoyinglyaggressive with their fund-raising activities. We need to get Barry out of the White House.

MARINE FACES TRIAL OVER "ILLEGAL" GUN POSSESSION

I keep saying that we should not think that Iran is allmouth and no rear-end. I would not putit past them to take some military action; they think differently than we do. Today’s luxury cruise liners have the most sophisticatednavigation, weather and safety equipment aboard in history. Computerized charts guide the ships with GPStechnology. The only way this shipshould have been near that sandbar is through an engine failure coupled withloss of steerage and bad weather, or negligence and dereliction of duty. The weather was reportedly good and theengines properly functioning; no steerage had been lost. I think the Captain and associated top crewmembers are in deep trouble.

This will probably next move into a Federal Court ofAppeals, so don’t get your hopes up. Theseappointments were not made during a Congressional recess, which would give himthe right to make the appointments on an “emergency” basis. The Congress was not in recess, although itwas not meeting. Obama appointed RichardCordray to lead the Consumer Protection Bureau and appointed three persons tothe National Labor Relations Boards. Two of these newly appointed members nevereven filed the proper background paperwork and, in fact, were only nominated inDecember. The U.S. Attorney General has basically told Congress, "tough shitskies."

The plain and simple truth of the matter is that Gingrich isthe most viable of the candidates. Iendorsed him and stand by that endorsement because I truly believe that Romneycannot debate effectively against Obama and the Obama camp will run all overhim. His endorsement by John McCainunderscores my disdain for him, and confirms my belief that he is a closetprogressive liberal. Ron Paul has aproblem with race that has not been satisfactorily addressed, and we do notneed a racist in the White House. The August debt bill debacle gives Obama theright to ask for it and stipulates that Congress can decline the request bypassing a Congressional Bill that… Obama can veto. In other words, our grand children's lives are screwed again.
